Recent Achievments
Learnership: GlobalG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurer - Plant Production NQF Level 4 (2024).
Lons Pride successfully trained 50 learners under the Learnership program for GlobalG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurer in Plant Production NQF Level 4.
Objectives: The learnership program aimed to develop skilled professionals capable of supporting farms in implementing and maintaining GlobalG.A.P. standards.
Methodology: The program combined classroom-based theoretical training and workplace learning, with 30% of the program dedicated to theory and 70% to practical application. Learners were actively engaged in activities such as data collection, compliance audits, and risk assessments, under the guidance of qualified assessors and mentors. Outcome: Graduates of the program were equipped with specialized skills to support farms in achieving and sustaining compliance, enhancing employability in roles such as compliance officers, quality assurance consultants, and farm managers.
Recent Achievements
GlobalG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance Incubator Program (2024)
In the beginning of 2024, we launched the GlobalG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance Incubator Program, enrolling 10 farms on a structured pathway toward achieving GlobalG.A.P. certification.
Objectives: This program aimed to equip farmers with the skills, infrastructure, and processes required to comply with international food safety, sustainability, and market access standards.
Methodology: Each farm underwent a tailored onboarding process, including initial baseline assessments, training in record-keeping and compliance documentation, and monthly on-site mentorship visits. The program emphasized sustainable practices and the adoption of efficient farm management systems to ensure ongoing compliance.Outcome: Farmers gained critical knowledge and practical tools to prepare for GlobalG.A.P. audits, positioning them for certification and greater market access opportunities.
Recent Achievement
Learnership: National Certificate in Agricultural Equipment Service and Repair NQF Level 2 (2024)
On December 30, 2024, LonsPride concluded a successful learnership program for 20 learners in the National Certificate: Agricultural Equipment Service and Repair NQF Level 2.

Objectives: This program aimed to address the critical shortage of skilled agricultural equipment technicians capable of supporting modern, mechanized farming operations.
